Our vision this year has been to call people connected to us to come and follow Jesus with us (that is to be in little groups that pray and try to love each other in Jesus’ Name) and to be fishers of people (that is to go out and invite people into community with us as we follow Jesus). It’s pretty simple really, but so vital. Click here to read the October 2013 Update on Envision.
In the last newsletter we gave the reminder that the Gospel in its simplest form is Jesus the Person Himself and we must always point to Him. But we must also pray for the conviction of sin for those still in the world, which is a work of the Holy Spirit. Click here to read the September 2013 Update on Envision.
Part of the results of the Gospel is life transformation and thatÂ’s what we see the most happening with those who have come to Christ or have been connected to the Body through Envision. Click here to read the August 2013 Update on Envision.
One of our dear friends said to us recently, “This has changed my life; I finally have some Christian friends…” Click here to read the July 2013 Update on Envision.
WeÂ’ve had some great opportunities for the Gospel in relationships again this month. Also weÂ’ve even been able to have kids with us on street nights and share Christ right there with them. Please come check it out some Tuesday night at 5:15pm or 7pm from the Flat Iron Woods on Bay and Prospect St. Click here to read the June 2013 Update on Envision.
You are all invited to come to Open Mic on May 9. Mitchell and Rochelle will be playing a feature at 8pm. ItÂ’d be a great way to spend time with friends/family and also see something that Envision is doing. Click here to read the May 2013 Update on Envision.
The Gospel is preached! Sometimes we pray for healing, sometimes folks want to talk about spiritual things and so we bring the Gospel. Sometimes people want to debate or berate us, but we keep on by the Grace of God. Click here to read the April 2013 Update on Envision.
We continue to proclaim the Gospel at Woods, on Street Nights, Jesus Studies, Ladies meetings, Jesus Gathering and three trees open mic at the Majestic. Please keep on praying that we can continue to proclaim the Gospel, that weÂ’ll have open doors, and that the mystery of Christ will be made known to peopleÂ’s hearts. It is important for any ministry to evaluate itself by stating previous goals and whether those were accomplished in a measurable way. If not, then things need to be adjusted so that those goals are accomplished. Then new goals can be set. Click here to read the February 2013 Update on Envision.
God was gracious to us in 2012! WeÂ’ve had many opportunities for the Gospel to be preached, including at the Jesus Gathering. WeÂ’ve also prayed with many for breakthroughs, healing, deliverance, and forgiveness of sins. We give all glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
