There is a network of house churches that partners with Envision Mission in Bellingham. It is a network of Christ-centered, Biblically-based, and elder-led communities of faith. There is a monthly meeting at various locations on the 2nd Saturday of every month where the house churches come together for worship, fellowship, prayer, a short teaching and a potluck. It’s called the Bellingham House Church network.
This is a new thing in that it is connected to the wider church in Bellingham – with advisory elders from local churches – but each house church is led by elders and functions quite independently. We follow a Matthew 18 style of accountability with each other and we especially appreciate the sense of community that a house church affords.
